Huw and family stayed in January 2024
Villa Mimosa is a true home from home. The accommodation is beautiful, the pool and hot tub are simply blissful. Both of these were cleaned and treated 3 times (by Tony who's an absolute diamond) during our fortnight to ensure perfect conditions for us. We are a family of 5, so each of the children had a room to themselves. However, 2 families of 4 could stay in comfort without a sofa bed in sight. The whole villa is very well appointed. The most relaxing, chilled out holiday I can remember. Highly recommend if you're looking to recharge and enjoy some winter sun. Really nice UK based owners who made the whole process super easy too. Thank you so much

Tracy & Martin, you made us very welcome in your lovely villa. All facilities you could ask for were provided. Great pool/hot tub and plenty of inflatables for kids & adults alike. One thing you might want to add in your guest info, is that e-scooters have to be left outside the villa and not in the carport. That aside, it is a great villa for larger families and I would definitely recommend it. Tracy was fantastic with her correspondence from start to finish.

We had the best stay in the villa. It was clean, tidy and exceeded all expectations. The pool was used daily  & great fun was had in there. Beware the neighbour called the police on us for normal noise, this really upset our youngest. Apart from the neighbour we would come back again & would recommend to our friends.

From arrival to leaving, everything can be classed as first class. We arrived earlier than the check-in time and as there were no guests leaving we were on the villa 20 minutes after leaving the airport. The communication both with the owner prior to arriving and the manager on arrival was nothing short of perfect, nothing was too much trouble, the manager gave us detailed information on the area, property and our responsibilities to others, specifically no loud music after 10 pm, we did have music on after this time but at an acceptable level so no issues whatsoever. The villa itself is beautiful and spacious, no issues with any room, the outside space and roof terrace were perfect, this can also be said about the pool and the jacuzzi, the pool was cleaned regularly. The accommodation was not only clean but also modern, beds and pillows were comfortable, and the kitchen was more than big enough for the number (6) of people in our group with more than enough seating/sunbeds for all of us. I cannot recommend this property enough, the location is far enough out of the centre for it to be quiet but not too far to have to use taxis consistently.

Firstly the owner Tracy went above and beyond to help us. Such a kind lady. We had an early flight from the UK. We arrived in futerventura at 10am. We couldn't get into the villa until 4 but tracy made sure that villa mimosa was first on the list to be cleaned from the previous guests and we could drop our cases off and within an hour of that the villa was ready. When we go to the villa it was absolutely beautiful, well equipped with everything you could want. Plenty of towels ( which was very handy) comfy beds, lovely and clean. Stunning views. There was 8 of us that stayed at the villa and we had the most amazing time. So much so that we even asked if we could stay longer, unfortunately they were fully booked (no surprise) Tracy even helped us to look for another villa to stay at. Thank you so much for letting us share your home. We made some beautiful memories.

We spent three weeks at Villa Mimosa and, genuinely, couldn’t fault a thing. The property was perfect for my family and friends. We were seven in total for one week, with my family of four for the full duration. Plenty to keep kids entertained (including good Wi-Fi for all the streaming!), the pool table a particular hit! The villa was immaculately kept, Tony (property manager) was in regular contact albeit we didn’t need him really for anything. All in all, a great villa in a great location. Would recommend extremely highly and will definitely be back!

We spent a fantastic 12 days at this villa with a large family ranging from 2yrs to 73yrs. The location was brilliant being a 15/20 min walk to Atlantico where there are a number of shops, supermarket, bowling alley and arcade, bars and fantastic restaurants to eat including the best Indian in the area. The town was a short 3-4 euro taxi ride each way if preferred. The villa really had everything you could need or want for a perfect time. The pool was perfect and the added bonus of a pool table and table tennis helped us to have many a good day and evening. We did not use the hot tub as there was a heatwave however it looked great. The owner Tracy communicated regularly with us and then Tony on arrival was also very helpful. We had no issues with the neighbours as some previous reviews have stated and would not hesitate to book this villa again on our many holidays to Fuerteventura. If you are a large family looking for a villa with all amenities and a home from home then I promise you won’t be disappointed, and I don’t say that lightly. Thank you all for a wonderful time.

Had a lovely two weeks family holiday. Well equipped, perfect for families, especially with young children. The 'older' kids did the trike tour, 6 hours of the island, highly recommend. The guide made it fun and interesting. Beaches very good. Indian takeaway also deliver, Bombay Spice, excellent. Hopscotch too. Only negative the 10pm curfew. Adults in hot tub, 10.30pm last night, neighbors rigorously enforce curfew, made to feel uncomfortable, get the impression either side don't like it being a rental villa

2nd visit for us and it didn't disappoint. Home from home. Taxi to White Centre €4 approx with all bars and beautiful places to eat. Our favorites, El Patio, Fado Rock, the Italian next to Kelly's and the Indian Fusion 22.
The kids have enjoyed the pool for the last 2 weeks and are definitely sad to leave.
Tracy has been amazing, from start to finish and Tony the pool man was very helpful. Until we meet again ❤️❤️xx

This property was such a delight to stay in. It had everything we needed. Swimming pool and hot tub for the adults, little splash pool for the children. There was enough space for everyone not to be on top of each other. The children were well catered for with everything they needed from highchairs and booster seats, to bowls plates and cups. A couple of recommendations would be that the decor needs a bit of an update. Having looked at other villas which are more modernly designed, you can see the difference in decor and furniture. Being able to accommodate 8 adults, it was noticed that there was only a couple of flute glasses so all the adults that wanted it, couldn’t enjoy a glass of Prosecco at the same time. Not a massive issue but it needs enough kitchenware for everyone. All that being said we would 100% book again at this villa. Thank you very much for having us.

The Villa was exactly as presented online and was very clean and well appointed. The check in process was excellent with a phone call as we collected our luggage and 15-20 mins later in a taxi for less than €20 we were met by Tony who showed us around and explained things inc. pool and hot tub. The villa is 20-25 mins walk to the very nice Centro Atlantico which has a great supermarket, boutique shops and cafes which was OK on day one but might be a little taxing in hotter weather or less able people. We usually hire a car but thought no need this time which is OK if staying the Caleta De Fuste area as there are ample taxis all for less than €5!! If you want to venture further up or down the coast then a car really is required. Pool was a little cold as still April but we all went in and with the hot tub then no problems as it was a brilliant spa!! Lazing around reading and on "tech" was just what we needed as good wi-fi and loads or room around the villa. With a pool table and table tennis more energy could be expended before a pool side shower, plunge into the pool then back to the hot tub!! Taxis into Caleta De Fuste on evenings we ate out delivered plenty decent meals and pubs for drinks. For a little more up market evenings the golf club (worth a round as well!) and the Sheraton offer lovely surroundings and a more refined ambience. All in all a great villa, trouble free break and came back very relaxed and happy to recommend Villa Mimosa

Family of 5, and extended family. A beautiful villa located along the golf course in caleta de fuste maintained to a very high standard. Everything we needed plus more was available at the villa. It was spotless and very well maintained. The outdoor dining and seating area was lovely and lit up beautifully at night. It is located in a very quiet area which suited us looking for a peaceful and restful holiday. We enjoyed the pool table which was a bonus to play in the evening. There were lots of board games and a wii which the kids and adults really enjoyed. The owners were quick to reply to queries and very pleasant to deal with. We were glad that we hired a car as it is a little further out from the main bulk of restaurants and shops. However, taxis seemed plentiful around the area. We had some lovely meals out in restaurants recommended however our favourite was La Bodequita due to having a playground outside it was a hit with the younger guest and amazing Italian pasta and meat dishes for the rest of us. I hope that the season is a busy and fruitful one for these property owners, they certainly have put the love and effort into their villa and we wish them them the very best.

We spent a week in this lovely location in Fuerteventura. The location was very clean and offered everything we needed for our stay. The communication with the owner worked really well and easy and Toni welcomed us warmly and explained us all the details of the house. As the weather sometimes wasn't too hot, we enjoyed our time in the hot Jacuzzi. The location of the house is also great, close to the airport and going to both north and south coast was easy and didn't take too long. We can definitely recommend this house!

This was my first visit to Fuerteventura having been to all of the other Canary Islands previously. The island is very quiet, unspoilt and beautiful. The location of the villa is in a quiet residential area near the golf course, away from the main tourist area of Caleta de Fuste but only a 3-5 Euro taxi ride away. We had no problems booking taxis directly to/from the villa (thanks to Google translate). The villa was beautiful and was fully equipped with everything we needed. Particularly enjoyed my morning cuppa on the verandah and my evening vino in the hot tub! For us (myself, husband and 13 year old daughter) there was absolutely nothing missing. We cooked, washed and BBQ'd (Eurospar 20 minutes walk/3 Euro taxi back) and there are also a number of very nice restaurants in Caleta de Fuste (Bar Oliver and Shivam Indian particularly). This was booked to be a quiet, relaxing holiday and did not disappoint. I would definitely book Villa Mimosa again if our travels take us back to Fuerteventura.

Primero que nada agradecer el trato de Tracy desde que contactamos con ella para reservar la villa hasta que nos fuimos. De agradecer también el detalle que tuvieron con unos regalitos para los niños a nuestra llegada. La villa está muy bien, en un sitio muy tranquilo sin ruidos, tiene una buena piscina y además tiene billar, jacuzzi, juegos para los niños, etc.. En definitiva una villa para recomendar.

Lovely 4 bed Villa with lots of great facilities including heated pool, hot tub, table tennis and pool table. Well supplied house, separate pool and bathroom towels much appreciated! We had a lovely week here, resort close by and local beach beautiful and good for children to swim safely. We were well looked after by Terry the property manager who was helpful and gave us lots of local insight. Our only slight downside was the residential nature of the area, meaning a noise curfew at 10pm, which with older children was a little challenging. Overall, a lovely holiday to explore Fuerteventura for the first, but I'm sure not the last time!

We have just returned from a very relaxing stay at Villa Mimosa. The villa has everything you need for a lovely holiday with a well equipped kitchen and BBQ. The welcome pack was a wonderful addition. The pool is a good size and we enjoyed the jacuzzi, pool table and table tennis. We walked each time to the shops and restaurants, but got a taxi from behind the shopping centre on the way back as it is quite a walk in the heat. Tracy kept us well informed before our holiday and was very patient as we waited to see if the flights would be running and Terry was on hand to help during our stay. Thankyou for sharing your wonderful villa with our family.

We had a marvelous stay in your villa Mimosa! Fuerteventura honored its name, but there was always a spot around the house where we could sit in the sun and out of the wind. Favorite was in the hot tub! My 87 year old mother in law and her 3 daughters stayed in it for hours. The men enjoyed playing table tennis and a round of golf. The villa was comfortable and the service great. The drinks in the fridge were a nice start of our stay. The suggestions and travel tips that Terry gave us were well appreciated.
The 7 of us have enjoyed our stay in villa Mimosa and as a family we have built another nice memory.

Well, what can we say? We have had the best week for a special 60th celebration. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise and very much needed after a long journey. The villa has everything that we would want. A lovely pool with inflatables provided much fun with the family. The hot tub was a great treat. Terry has been very helpful and attentive. A special meal at Fado's was lovely and we recommend it. We managed to buy a birthday cake from Mercadona, which was a great touch. We will definitely be back a a family! :)

Two families of Four, had a week in the Villa which was lovely and spacious, plenty of places to sit, eat and sunbathe. Nice welcome pack of some beers and wine in the fridge on arrival which was a nice touch. Owners very communicative both prior to and after the holiday. Terry who maintains the villa was also friendly and easy to contact if needed. The Villa also had all the amenities needed. We had a lovely relaxing week and would definitely go back to Villa Mimosa

Our first villa holiday experience and we have not been disappointed! Tracey was very helpful with answering our questions from booking the villa to the last minute pre arrival questions. Once here, Terry has been able to help us with any questions and has popped in frequently to check everything is okay. Thank-you Tracey and Terry for all your help!
Whilst here we enjoyed a very relaxing break making good use of the pool, hot tub and table tennis. A short walk to the beach gave us a change of scenery for a few days. 
In the evenings we made good use of the BBQ as well as enjoying meals out at Fado, KM Zero, Boguieta and The Great Wall. Fado was good, but we enjoyed KM Zero and the Italian more.
All in all, a great holiday in a villa that suited everyone's needs for a family of 8, aged 7-70!

Lovely villa, lovely pool, lovely hot tub, lovely welcome pack.
Made good use of the free bus at the hotel. Terry been great, no problems. 
Taxis good friendly and cheap. Eaten at the Shivam Indian 3 times and it's always been good. Going to the Fado tonight as it's our last night. The Tirol has live music on Tue&Fri night and Sun afternoon. Very enjoyable stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at Villa Mimosa - the kids loved the pool and we all enjoyed the hot tub. It was close to the beach and there was lots to do nearby. We drove up to the water park and to the Corralejo sand dunes which were beautiful. The rooms were comfortable and the air conditioning was excellent. Would highly recommend it!

Wow wow wow! What a fantastic week in this 'everything you could need and more' villa. Tracy + Terry have been fab - nothing was a bother and both very quick to answer queries or give advice.

Comfiest beds we have ever had on holiday, hot tub a great addition!
We all enjoyed the comforts of the villa - wifi, films (T.V does lag at night - but not a problem for us). We visited our favorite restaurant '15' twice this week (it never disappoints) and enjoyed pizzas and pasta in 'Smile'. We will return! May thanks

'Lovely villa, ideal for families​'

We recently booked the villa for a week. The villa is located exactly 1 mile (1.6km) to the nearest shop in the commercial centre where there's also a number of shops, bars and restaurants. Caleta de Fusta is about 2 miles (3km) away. We hired a vehicle for the week (not expensive to hire cars on the island) which we found essential to go shopping and go sightseeing. The villa is located between 2 golf courses in a quiet residential area. Externally the swimming pool and hot tub were excellent. There was also a table tennis table and plenty of pool toys/inflatables for children. The pool area enjoys sunshine almost all day long with comfortable sun loungers. The roof terrace gives extra outside space although it was fairly windy during our stay so we only used the roof terrace once or twice. There is a large BBQ which we used a lot and there was plenty of charcoal available when we arrived and we left the same quantity when we left (available from the local shop). Internally the kitchen was well kitted out and we were delighted with the beers, wine and cava that were chilling in the fridge on our arrival. There are 4 good sized bedrooms, 1 with en-suite and a large family bathroom. The living room is generously proportioned with a smart tv and wifi. We are considering returning with some friends in the future. Thanks Tracy for all your help prior to arrival and thanks to Terry (property manager) for making our stay enjoyable and sharing his local knowledge!

Location comme attendue, piscine, jacuzzi, commodités à proximité, idéalement placée pour les amateurs de golf. Sa situation centrale sur Fuerteventura permet de se déplacer au sud ou au nord de l'île en moins de 50 minutes, idéale pour voir l'essentiel de Fuerteventura. Les îles Canaries sont magnifiques et toutes différentes les unes des autres, Fuerteventura est plutôt bien préservée, je n'ai pas été déçu....

My family and I stayed at villa mimosa the last week in March 2019. Tracey and terry we’re both very helpful and communication was no problem, speedy replied from both. Both are very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. Terry was round a couple of times on our stay to make sure pool/hot tub levels were suitable and was always polite and chatty. The welcome pack when we arrived was very generous, cold beer and wine chilling in the fridge for our arrival was just what we needed after a long time travelling. Everything you would need has been provided for, right down to portable speakers, hairdryers/straighteners, ironing board, cool box and packs, loads of books and board games, pool toys and inflatables and anything else you would expect to find in your own home. The villa is a very short drive from the airport on the golf course estate so there isn’t much traffic going by, it’s very quiet. The neighbours are quiet and always say hi. The hot tub is so relaxing when it gets a bit cooler in the evening and is a great addition to the villa. The pool is great and with a small kids paddling pool it was great for us with two little ones. The villa has a great layout and room enough for all 8 of us. The roof terrace is another great space for chilling during the day with seating and sun loungers up there. The outside dining table and couches are slightly shaded which is good for when it gets a bit too hot. Overall every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay 100% with zero complaints from any of our party. I can certainly see us booking up for next year. Thanks to Tracey, Martin and Terry for a fantastic stay and catering to our every need.

Tracy was a great host from start to finish. Excellent communication and fast response. Nothing was too much trouble. Great welcome pack on arrival which included wine beer & sangria. This was best welcome pack we’ve ever had. Lovely spacious villa. Bed was lovely and comfy & great modern shower and plenty of hot water. Real home from home having uk channels and great sound system for music. But the best part was the outdoor area. This was amazing. Wonderful pool area with lovely water temperature. And fabulous hot tub where we had many a relaxing evening with a glass of wine. We also loved the table tennis this was great fun. Fabulous location away from the busy area but within 5 mins in car to the main centre . Had some great food at Ascension and Fifteen. Fantastic weather ! Great holiday , Loved it and can’t wait to go back !

Myself and my partner Jemma come to Caleta every 6 months and we decided we would bring our families with us for 11 days of winter sun. As there are 6 of us with ages ranging from 29 to 71, we decided to book a villa for our trip. We found this Villa and I contacted Tracey for a booking. Everything was done with simplicity and Tracey was great to deal with, answering questions and handling the booking with ease ( thankyou!!) We got to the villa and it was clean, tidy and amazing. The Hot tub and heated pool were incredible and the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Terry and his wife were amazing and answered any questions we had. The villa is around a 15 minute walk to Atlantico Shopping Centre and another 15 minute walk along the promenade or beach to the main town, where you will find lots of nice restaurants and bars. It is also well located if you want to explore the island, which we do every time we come over All in all this Villa is a great find, easy to book and a wonderful place to stay for all ages with everything you need to have a great break away. This villa is like home from home. We all settled in from the beginning. We had 4 children aged 10 and 6. Everyday I heard I love this place. This is the best holiday ever. The pool was amazing. The hot tub was a present added attraction and the roof top views are amazing to watch the sun rise and set. A short walk took you to a spa supermarket with everything you need and very well priced. Taxis back from there is only around €4. Taxis from the airport is only €15. Took about 20mins. Further on along the beach are fabulous resturants and bars. Our favourite was fadeo rock that do amazing steaks. The atmopshere is amazing in there. There is a little cocktail bar across the road that do very generous measures. We went out every night for dinner and didn't once have a bad meal. I would definitely return to furtuventuria. Villa minmosa is already booked for our available dates next year but would definitely return if we get the chance. Terry was always at hand with any problem or questions we have. And George the gardener was lovely. All in all a memorable holiday that we couldn't fault.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Villa Mimosa. The Villa is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. The pool and hot tub were great as was the bbq. There was good communication from Tracey the owner and Terry who manages the Villa. Terry and his wife went out of their way to get us in to the Villa early and we really appreciated this. It was a nice touch having wine for our arrival and was great having hairdryers and straightners in the double bedrooms. It was good having a range of games, books etc. The weather wasn't great when we were there but didn't spoil our experience. This is my 3rd trip to Fuerteventura. Without a doubt, I would book this Villa again in the future and already have friends and family making enquiries about it from seeing our pics on facebook

A week required to recharge the batteries of a hectic home life. Perfect acommodation for a mixed group . Pool and jacuzzi to relax and cool down or warm up whatever the weather. Wife and friends already planned return trip. The wife said Tracey had thought of all the little things to make arrival and rest of stay a breeze. Had a great 3 weeks here. The villa is well situated in a quiet location about 20 minute walk from local facilities. Car not essential but good to have as there is much to see and do on the island. Local taxis very reasonable if you don't want to walk. Best restaurants are in Caleta itself. Would recommend Fado Rock and El Patio.

We have just returned from an amazing 10 day stay in Villa Mimosa. Leading up to the holiday, as a party of 2 families I had several questions which I had to contact Tracy with, and she always responded so quickly and was very helpful and accommodating.

The villa is beautiful and feels very homely - everything you could need is included - it was nice not to have to go and buy loads of pool toys as they were already there! Terry was also very helpful and friendly - he knows the island well so gave us some good tips.

The villa is well situated - a 20 minute walk to the nearest supermarket (a Spar) as well as some nice little bar/cafes as well as a beach - although this was too windy for us! As we often had shopping with us, we regularly got taxis back from this area, and it was less than 4 euro for those who don't want to walk.

We will definitely be returning to Villa Mimosa next year!

We have just arrived back home after a fabulous two weeks holiday at this amazing property. Your every need is catered for and the attention to detail from the book library to a vast selection of DVD collection, the hot tub , fantastic pool, outdoor living in this property is so easy as it has all you need!!! Beautifully furnished and loads of space, we had the best time. I must say that the owner Tracey couldn't have been more helpful before our holiday , nothing is to much trouble great customer service!! Book it it's a must and we will definitely rebook . Fantastic!!!

Villa Mimosa is a very nice house in a nice area. It's fully equipped with pool, jacuzzi, BBQ and they even provide you with all baby/children stuff you need (bed,carseat,high chair,...). Also everyone (house management, person who cleans the pool and house owner) was very nice and friendly and always available for questions. And with the great weather, even though it was February,we had a very nice stay. Also, if you have a car, the house is the perfect starting point to explore all the beautiful beaches in the north as well as in the south. And you are in for a special treat if you are enjoying golf, since there is a resort right around the corner ;) We also appreciated the supermarkets around the villa, which are huge and provide everything you can imagine, even fresh fish.

We have just returned from a weeks break to this lovely villa. The villa is advertised as a home from home, and it more than lives up to this. The owners are quick to respond to any questions, through the booking process and whilst we were there! The management company that look after the villa are easily contactable and you are likely to meet them on your visit, as they check the pool and jacuzzi twice a week. We were surprised to find condiments in the cupboards....we detoured via the supermarket 1st and found we didn't really need to buy BBQ spices etc. A lovely welcome surprise. I presume whatever the previous guests leave are all kept for the next guests? The villa was spotless and all ready for our arrival. It was nice to be able to unpack and relax as it felt so homely. The highlight for us was the jacuzzi, we spent quite a few hours relaxing there. The location was perfect for us, 10 min drive from the airport, €17 on a taxi, a 15 min walk to the local shopping centre, with the main resort a further 10-15 mins along the promenade. €3 taxi back with all the shopping. We had a few BBQ's whilst we were there, it was nice to not have to get ready to go out, but have a lovely meal at home....then a relaxing jacuzzi!! We are normally all inclusive people, but thoroughly enjoyed the freedom of eating when we wanted and what we wanted. We tried a few places in Caleta to eat, the best of the bunch being Fado Rock Steak House. Great food and great prices. We wouldn't hesitate to come here again and will recommend to our friends and family. Only one question, would you consider a shorter stay than 7 nights? We rarely get a 7 night break together, so would love to visit for a long weekend. Thanks for making us feel so welcome, can't wait to visit again!
